Meetings are held in the Tri-Valley area. Regular chapter meetings are held from January through May and September to December inclusive. Please note that meeting and events maybe modified dependent on current health restrictions on meetings and gatherings. DAR National Day of Service To honor the anniversary of DAR’s founding on October 11, 1890, chapters and individuals are encouraged to engage in meaningful service projects in their communities each year on or around October 11. Choose a project that you are passionate about such as: sending cards of encouragement to active-duty military, collecting books for school children in need, cemetery cleanup, organizing a community blood drive, and many more. Be creative! There are countless ways to make a difference in your local communities. |
